A new Adddition

Ok so heres is our brand new arrival. On Aug. 15th 2009 Alexander Tiberius Baird joined our family. After Being dilated to a 5 and fully effaced for two weeks we went to hospital more just to make sure I wasn't in labor, really just wanting to be safe rather than sorry. I thought maybe I was having contractions but they didn't feel like the contractions I had with Briel so i wasn't sure. When the doctor checked me he said that I was dilated to an eight and that I was in fact in labor. After a three hour labor (mostly because i had to wait for the doctor to deliver another baby) and three min. of pushing Xander was born.


Briel was excited but leery like most two years olds who now have to share the li me light but she loves her little brother and loves to give him kisses.






After about a month settling into our new life has been great if not a little tiring. Xander is a great baby and we love hiving him in our family

How time flys!

Well my daughter just turned two and I realized how much life just happens when I'm not paying attention. So I decided that I need to start writing it down or I'll lose the little things I want to remember. (especially because I am pregnant and most days I can't really remember my own name.) I thought I'd start out with a little history, again that's if I can remember it. Paris and I have been married for 3 years we have a 2 year daughter named Briel and one on the way due to arrive in late Aug., really late we could even say Sept 1st if he's one day late. We live in a house we bought a year ago in Sandy and we are all very happy. (if not a little tired) Paris manages a call center and I teach online classes. I am working to get my first book published and Paris and I are going to try and start and online business. So we are pretty busy but that's better than being board (as if that were possible with a small child.) As a family we enjoy playing games together and getting out for picnic's.

I've never been very good at Journal writing so we'll see how often I actually update this page.
